It started out of course with the best of intentions and slowly spiralled downwards (I'll spare you the torrid details) and outwards into, well yes I suppose pear is about the shape of it.
Here comes the dilemna..
Does one live the rest of the day regretting what's happened or faced with this (pear -shaped) obstacle does one get over it?
The thing about obstacles I have found and especially when faced with one of pear -shaped dimensions is that we have a choice.
We can do something or nothing.
If we do nothing then more often than not we leave ourselves open to self pity and then we're done for. We might as well throw the towel in because that is what we have just done - given up. Giving up is futile and sucks the life out of us, literally!
We can do something:
We can decide to face that obstacle and put it behind us. It doesn't matter how big it is, quit wasting time and energy working out how to get over it.
This is where some fall into struggle because the thought of getting over something is too huge.
All that is needed is the desire to leave it behind.
With this in mind the right actions will follow.
Energy follows thought.
So that said, I have decided to face my (pear-shaped) demons of the day and take my power back.
Have a word with yourself and do it.
You really can reverse the shape of that pear if you want to..
Now that's juicy food for thought!
